Course Overview
This one day course introduces the beginner to Microsoft Access database package. Features include familiarisation with the screen layout, creating and editing tables, locating specific information and basic interpretation of data.
Pre-requisites
There are no formal pre-requisites for this course. However, it would be beneficial if participants were familiar with the Windows environment.
Progression
An Advanced level course is available for those who wish to gain a more in-depth knowledge of MS Access
Formal Accreditation
Skills acquired in this course help prepare participants for the Microsoft Office Specialist Certification in Access and the ECDL Module 5 – Access examination. Test preparation and formal examinations can be undertaken at the College Microsoft IT Academy by prior arrangement.
