This course has been designed in accordance with the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) All Wales Passport Scheme, this course will ensure your workforce are trained to a minimum standard in manual handling.

Course Content
This course covers:
- Legislation relating to Manual Handling
- Musculo-Skeletal injuries/disorders
- The purpose and use of risk assessments
- Safe techniques and practice using a variety of equipment
Method of Assessment
Learners will undergo formative assessments throughout the course, along with practical based work and a short multiple-choice assessment.
Certification
A Manual Handling All Wales Passport Certificate of Completion will be presented upon finishing the course. It is recommended this course is refreshed within 1 year.
