Description
The NPORS N304 Cable Avoidance Tool course provides essential training on the safe and effective use of cable avoidance tools (CAT) and signal generators (Genny). The course covers both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, including pre-operational checks, safe operation techniques, and post-operational procedures.
 
Progression Opportunities
Upon successful completion, participants can progress to more advanced NPORS certifications or pursue relevant NVQ qualifications to upgrade their NPORS Red Trained Operators Card to a Blue Competent Operators Card.

Entry Requirements
Participants must have a good understanding of spoken and written English. For those seeking the NPORS CSCS Card, passing the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test within the last two years is required.
